Redeemer offers adult membership classes on the fundamental teaching of the Christian faith, as summarized by Martin Luther in the small catechism. Martin Luther reminds us of Paul's words in Ephesians, "for it is by grace you have been saved through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." Also, repeatedly asking the question "what does this mean," the catechism helps us better understand God's commandments, the Creeds, the Lord's Prayer and the Holy Sacraments.
